Pies have been fairly good in the past- but lets be honest this is Chicago, and there really isn't any competition around for pies. Cream pie fillings are tasty, crust...not so much so. The crust is not butter flaky, more lard crisp. Why is it so hard to find good quality and variety in Chicago? Terrible phone service when trying to call in as well.

When I ran out of time to whip up my own homemade pie for a party, these guys saved the day. Because rhubarb and strawberries were in season, I gave it a try. Our guests all gave rave reviews...even my husband who isn't so crazy about rhubarb. Buttery, flakey crust. Well balanced filling that wasn't too sweet or too tart. Simply wonderful. I'm looking forward to going back to try their "pie flights" sometime soon.
