    Chicago's Best Barbeque

The pulled pork is absolutely the best I have ever tried. Their third place finish in the World Championship, yes, the world! speaks for itself. The homemade sauces reminded me of the gourmet sauces served in Austin and Memphis. The sides are equally amazing, homemade baked beans, collard greens, blackeyed peas, fried green tomatoes, stuff you just cant get elsewhere in Chicago. The corn muffin was melt in my mouth good. The brisket is also a beautiful option, complete with the smoke ring and tenderness that will take you to Texas! Give it a try, it will blow you away!

    Grilled Cheese Sandwich

In a nut shell the Corn muffin was terrible. The Nice Tips Ribs Tips whole slab, chopped and servered on a ciabatta roll was the worst...the pork was under cooked, and had a lot of fat with out the sauce and it was not a ciabatta roll...(sauce was yucko) $27.31 down the garbage because this was so bad that it was thrown away. Had to make a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner I should have read the reviews first I could have saved myself $27.31....It will take a lot more effort for me to go back and try it again.

    The food Comes First

Willie has won huge cookoffs world companionships and the products are top of the line with no sauce on them you can pick the sauce in containers on the table. I tried the sauces and they are very good there 3 different types. With BYOB you are saving money off the top. The meat is prepared to prefection this chef is the best of the best and he is in an working class neigberhood not an highclass area. I am so happy we have an world companionship bbq place so close to the southside. I read some reviews and they are bogus the person needs to stick to there everyday place McDonalds they want fast food fast service so see the clown. Professional cooked food takes time so have a BYOB drink and wait good things come to those who wait. This place has what you want the product just do what I do come early and you will have the best bbq youever eat.

    A little more effort

I agree, the meat itself is excellent but everything else was sub-par. The sauce especially was no good, it was obviously store bought. If thats the route to go, there are much better sauces you can purchase

    strange

off the beaten path, doctored bottled barbecue sauce, strange buns, generic barbecue beans, right out of the can, and to top things off, Jewel potato salad!!!...that aside, the meat was good, but come on, we need a better package. You will have to do more to get me back here....
