Relationship's are complicated...
I was introduced to this restaurant 5 years ago by a friend, and have been a customer ever since. The food is consitently good, however during my last pickup, I noticed that my order contained a bit less food, and no cookies, or chopsticks?! It's the little things that make me a devoted customer, and I feel slighted, and disappointed. I hope that they pay as close attention to orders as they have in the past. This was my number one spot, however, I may have to start looking around...

Chicago's best
They have good food. Good pricces, and nice neighborhood feel. This is a treat for my family, and we love it.

Great place for carryout, and actually quite accomodating for parties. Love their befe with orange peel!

heavenly flavors
Hong Huah, I am in love with your steamed dumplings. I dream about your crunchy, creamy crab rangoon, and drool over your salt and pepper shrimp... yummy!

SO GOOD
OMG! Had an amazing lunch of steamed potstickers, an unbelievable dish called Happy Family, and shrimp lo mein noodles. The best!

The Best!
Amazing. This place has THE best Chinese food. Our office goes out to lunch several times a week and a co-worker recommended the place although we are about a 15 minute car ride away. This place is a hidden treasure. They have incredible food. Nothing I could say will do the place justice short of trying it out for yourself. The soups are great, the crab rangoon- light and crispy, portions are generous, vegetables are great, and seafood is good. I am super happy with the place. I have been picking up dinner about twice a week since I found the place it is that good! Yes it is a bit of a drive, and the building is not brand new, however the quality of the food is unbelievable. I wish that I had found out about this restaurant sooner...

The best once again
I was dismayed to read the bad reviews about Hong Huah, but had to shake my head and agree because we've had some sub par hong huah . But! Tonight (thursday night) was excellent! possibly one of the best ever for us, and we've been regulars there for about 6 years (strictly carry out). the food was fresh, not greasy, lots of fresh veggies, the pot stickers were amazing, as usual. Don't give up on HH! I think it might depend on who is cooking. Try it on a thursday! Long live Hong Huah-
