We highly recommend having breakfast at this little place in the old Maxwell St. neighborhood. I really like their omlettes and while I'm not a huge fan of the sweet potato hashbrowns, my husband is. When the place is busy and all the tables are full, the place can seem a little cramped (particularly when the next table has a couple of young children). But it's a family friendly, chatty, relaxed place to enjoy a nice breakfast. My only complaints are (a) no rye bread for toast and (b) the coffee cups are so big that the coffee gets cold before you can finish the cup.

My wife and I love this place. The service is outstanding and all the wait staff are very friendly. It is a comfortable and casual dining experience. The waffles, pancakes, and hashbrowns are some of the best I've had. The egg dishes were a little bland in my opinion. The omelets are light, fluffy, and large. I look forward to eating here every weekend.

This place is great! The waffles and pancakes come with a vanilla sauce to die for!

Went to this busy, bustling place for the first time today, and I quite enjoyed it. It was very busy (Sunday morning breakfast crowd), and the seats along the walls were nearly claustrophopic. Luckily, I was seated in a quiet corner table. The menu is minimal , and they serve lunch as well as breakfat. The sweet potato hashbrowns were PHENOMENAL and highly recommended. The omlettes were flavorful, and there are many to choose from. A for service, well there were only two waitresses I could see, and while the coffee cups were huge, they were rarely full. It also took over 10 minutes to get my water refilled. Breakfast for three was $30 bucks, and overall well worth the price. A great addition to Chicago.
