It's a culture thing
Google Harold’s Chicken: read the wiki, yo. This last Peron, like just doesn’t get it. Harolds ALWAYS refries, it what they do. The service ALWAYS sucked. So gotta be some great bird for us to put up wif that, Holla.

Would not Reccommend
First of all, I asked for my wings to be fried hard and they refried some wings that were already taken out of the fryer! Secondly, the service is so slow. Once I sat in there for 45 minutes waiting on a 4 wing dinner. Third, if you go during the lunch time and you get a special, they give you little bitty wings. And last but not least, they make you have a $10 minimum to use a debit or credit card. Unless you don't care about the quality of your food and have all day to wait... I would not suggest goingto this Harold's.

The Wings Have it!
Great spot! I loved them when I lived on the South Side and I love them even more for coming North especially when I don't feel like cooking and can just walk down the street!!! Best Chicken!

Superb fried chicken.
Crispy, moist, and no greasy aftertaste. Fries and white bread soaked in hot sauce round out the meal. Service is slow but thats the price you pay for made to order chicken! Highly recommended.

harolds chicken shack on clark st
They entertained us w/ a large screen TV. Harry Potter was playing....nice!
