Little Gem
We live in the area and have always gone to Tokyo Marina or Noodle Zone because of the price. Not only are the portions better at Hama Matsu, but it ended up being cheaper. Not to mention that it is so much better than either place. We were a little confused at the beginning, as not everything is on the sheet we had to fill out, and at the end, as we were not offered dessert, but the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We will not only go back for all our sushi and maki needs, but we will go back tonight.

You'll come back for more
Jason, Bang, and the crew will make you feel comfortable and the sushi will knock you off your feet. It's always made with precision and with a personal touch (try the kamikaze!). Such a jewel of a restaurant-- you'll be pleasantly surprised. Go a bit early to avoid the crowd-- a great time to chat with the owners at the bar or to have a romantic dinner. A++++

Definitely the place to go
Good, fresh sushi served without attitude or pretention. BYOB. The chef is always friendly and remembers repeat customers. Standard and creative rolls are great. Their oyster sunomono appetizer is tasty. Wasabi roe is amazing. Whenever I go somewhere else, thinking I'm going to get a better deal or yummier food, I always leave wondering why I didn't just stick with Hama Matsu.

Never have been disappointed
My fiance and I have been returning here over the past year and a half. The sushi and rolls are great, fresh. The place is usually crowed on weekends. Atmosphere is busy enough to feel exciting but not overwhelming. The service is prompt and not in your face or pretentious. The cinnamon tea at the end is a unique treat.
