Best Greek Food in Chicago!
My family and friends have gone to this restaurant way back when they were on Jackson and of course for decades on Halsted and Adams. We have NEVER been disappointed and now our kids are bringing their friends here which makes it the third generation enjoying the best greek food in Chicago! Give them a try...oopah!

Poor service
Server did not explain any platter, did not even remember one single order for each of a group of 10, dropped the dishes in a careless manner, Food was ok, I wont come back ever.

favorite spot
I have been going to Greek Islands for years w/family and friends. This is my favorite resturant in city and teh atmosphere is elegant/cozy. The food is authentic and great place to spend with friends/family for great conversations and incredible food!

excellent
Excellent food, excellent service, a truly enjoyable experience. I had the seafood shishkabob and it was amazingly fresh and grilled to perfection. My cousin had the dolmades and claimed they were just like Mama use to make! One of the better restaurants in Greektown to say the least. We will be back for sure!

The best in Greektown
The octopus appetizer is phenomenal, the arni fourno and the kokinistos are excellent mains. All the fish dishes are wonderful--fresh and carefully prepared. One downside is it's a bit crowded and touristy, and the staff can be distracted. But the food is above and beyond anything else in Greektown.
