The Best Wings Ever!!!
I live right next to this restaurant and can't get enough of it....but what confuse me is the fact that the sign says "Great Sea Chinese restaurant and I went in there and see only Koreans...but I don't mind....The fried rice is GREAT!!! Especially the Saucy Chicken wing...HIGHLY recommended!!! There's always a race who EATS the most wings and they'll take a picture and post it on the wall...VERY FUN!!!

I visit every time I'm in Chicago
Although Great Sea is listed as a Chinese restaurant, it is actually a Korean-owned restaurant that serves Koreanized Chinese foods. It serves the usual Americanized Chinese junk (General Tso's Chicken, for instance). But if you want the real stuff get the spicy chicken wings (gang-poong-ghe), noodles w/ black sauce (jha-jang-myun), or spicy seafood noodle soup (jhamp-ong). The people eating in this restaurant are usually Korean, not Chinese. The wings are the best. My wife and I often talk about how we wish we could go get the wings, but, alas, we live in Virginia. Need evidence of the greatness of the wings? Sit in the restaurant any evening there's a big event, like New Year's Eve. You'll see locals walking out with several aluminum foil tins of wings for their home celebrations. This place has the best wings I've tasted in all the US-based Koreatowns I've been too, and even better than the wings in Korea. My cousins in Korea always say the best Korean food is in L.A. Well, Great Sea is one exception to that rule better wings than any place in L.A.

Awesome Chinese!
We've had family night at Great Seas since I was a teenager living on the north side of Chicago since over 20 yrs ago. I now live in Bolingbrook & my fiance & I trek over to Chicago just for the Spicy chicken (kampongyee) & seafood salad. Never realized when i was younger how great & authentic the food was until I moved to the burbs & ate at the other "Chinese" restaurants. If you're looking for authentic Chinese & not the americanized version, this is the place to be at.

Gan Pong Ki
The dish that keeps business thriving is Gan Pong Ki. Hot and spicy chicken wings. Order it extra hot to clear those sinuses. They are spicy sweet goodness. You might like to have carryout instead of dining in. I've been a customer for almost 15 years and the service has been consistently poor. It's never EVER good service.

Best Asian Chicken Wings ...Ever.
People who know the deal come here and order the "Hot & Saucy Chicken." People who don't know the deal order that bowl of "muddy" noodles...yuck. Get the chicken, you'll be glad you did.

Great Chinese in Albany Park
This is my favorite Chinese place north of China Town. The food is always great. Try the amazing chicken wings, the fantastic crab rangoons, or the wonderful Chow Mein. They make their own noodles on site, so the chow mein is wonderful. The place is always full of Chinese people, a testament to how good the food is, and is very kid and family friendly. The only negative here is that the service is always on the down side. The waitresses are always so busy. It can take a long time to get your food and a longer time to get your check. Do not hit Great Sea if you are looking for an in and out the door dinner. But the food is so worth it that I keep coming back... again and again!

I love it here
I've been coming here for about 7 years and I love it. Everything I've ordered so far has been really good. Here is what I've ordered Chicken Wings (campuque something like that), Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice (Combination), Broccoli Beef, Shredded pork and with other stuff in it (spicy), I forgot what else. It can be slightly pricey but worth it.
