Mrs. Stopeks navi class review for Yonah

This is one of the best kosher resturants out there. the popcorn chicken, either BBQ or regular, is un-real. just thinking about it makes me want to get out of class and head over to Davan street. the popcorn chicken's sauce is also VERY good. The sauce also goes good with anything. Thank you for teis delicious meal. love mrs. stopeks navi class

    It's Okay

This place should and be a goldmine. It is the only actual Kosher restaurant left on Devon which is considered to be the "Jewish" street of Chicago and has a great location across from a regional little league type of balpark and a huge CTA bus turnaround. (there are two others less than a mile away) His food is not the best, but the chicken noodle soup and Chinese food is pretty good (them having a Chinese cook helps). That is the positive things about this place. The fried chicken that is there specialty is usually mediocre at best, and should be better. I don't know if the oil isn't changed often enough, the fried chicken is rarely hot. This entire restaurant need a massive cleaning or remodeling, don't look at the floor. I see them cleaning the place all of the time when I am there, it just is hard to believe it if I didn't see it. If the owner lost his attitude, stopped shouting at his employees constantly, and tried a little harder to improve the quality and freshness of his product, he should see a significant improvement in his business.
