Patties Patties Patties!!
I am from NY and when I travel I try to find the best Jamaican restaurant in whatever town I am in. Good to go has some of the best patties I have ever tasted. The smoothies are to die for. I am just sad that the restaurant is over 40 minutes away from where I usually stay when I visit Chicago. The price is kind of steep though, I usually spend $40 when I go there, which is why I don't frequent it more when I visit.

Good food, Great Smoothies
Good specials, especially for lunch. Very generous portions although you do have to wait awhile, but the place is very clean and cheery. I HIGHLY recommend the fruit smoothies. They have tons of options and will make them to order. Also, the patties are shipped in from NYC from a great bakery there making them the best in Chicago (the only ones my Jamaican husband will eat here).

Good Caribbean Eating
The food is delicious and the atmosphere reminds you of a Caribbean eatery. The best on the menu is the Brwon Stew Chicken, now this is delicious! The helpings are very generous and you will have enough to take home for later. However the cabbage has entirely too many green and red peppers in it which takes away from the flavor of the cabbage.
