    Great food.. bad service

Great selection of daily specials at a scaled down price from north side prices. The food is delicious and fresh! The service needs work, though. They don't appear to be too organized. I've had a few bad experiences with waiting a long time before anyone even recognized you were there and also waiters not taking orders properly. Great food. Service needs improvement. They need to hire experienced staff.

    Fab food

This great little restaurant is located in the 9th district. It's close to Police Headquarters and the 1st distrct. I found it through word of mouth, from a friend who heard of it the same way. I recommend it to anyone that is working the street or is working citywide or just hungry for tasty food. If it wasn't for the lack of parking, it would be perfect. The food is delicious!!!!

    Old neighborhood charm Chicago Style

This place reminds my parents of being a kid where neighborhood corners were full of deli's, small shops, and small restaurants. Gio's definitely deliver that neighborhood feel and instantly makes you part of the community. Try the caprese panini, painini italiano, or the penne melaneza. Great food, great chicago feel, and good sevice!

    Great Food

I recently had the pleasure of dining in this establishment. I'm from Arizonia originally from Chicago. My brother took me to dinner while I was in town. I had the homemade ravioli and the mona lisa salad with out the chicken. They were fantastic! The salad was to die for the dressing and the ingredients. The sauce for the ravioli was very very good. I told all my family in Chicago that they must go and dine at Gio's
