Authentic, inexpensive Japanese food
Work in the area for years and decided to go in with a colleague. We both avoided it due to the looks! Boy, were we deceived. Place is definitely outdated, but the food is authentic and inexpensive. Staff is really friendly and helpful, but can be a bit slow at times. But its a good way to catch up on small talk with friends. Others I have recommended the place to, came back with the same verdict. We love the place just the way it is. Low Key and inexpensive w/ reasonable good food.

want real sushi? this is the place
Ginza has been around chicago for decades and its still going strong because of its authentic japanese food quality and the genuine people. My japanese friends say like to go there to feel like home. The atmosphere is layback, so dont expect to see fancy trendy contemporary design. The price is reasonable, very reasonable.
