Grrreat pizza
This pizza is wonderful! I prefer it over any other pizza. I do however ALWAYS get my pizza to go. The store is raggedy and I cannot believe that they have not upgraded after all these years. But, I will continue to order from there...to go!

Love this place
It's not a place you want to stick around and eat at, but you won't find a better NY style pizza in Chicago. And a great price.

Awesome Pizza!!!:)
I would come here all the time because i went to school right around the corner and its the best NY style pizza in Chicago for sure. Its big greasy and delicious! Ive also tried Gigio's Fries, Cheesy Italian Beef, Meatballs and Garlic Bread..its all good. Id stick to getting the pizza though the sausage and pepperoni is my favorite. One slice is filling two is even better.:p

Amazing Pizza
Amazing pizza made in a place that looks like a long abandoned hospital room. No for real.

Ahhh, memories....
I went to St.Thomas late 60's -early -mid 70's and lived on Gunnison between Marine Dr. and Sheridan from '68-'90 and have LOVED Gigio's my whole life!! I'm now in NW Indiana( aaagghh!) and took the family to Gigio's a couple of years ago after a Cubs game and a dip @ Foster Ave. Beach! Man, Oh, Man!!! I wolfed down 3 slices before I got to the Dan Ryan on the way home!! My wife could not believe how nasty it was, and I don't remember it that nasty, but that's what makes it such a jewel!! I distinctly remember eating in at around 8-9 yrs old (1970 or so) with my older cousins. At St. Thomas, there used to open lunch and it was either Gigio's or the A & W under th "L" on Lawrence.. Me thinks we need to take another road trip to see the "ol' neighborhood"!!!!!

Great New York Style Pizza
Crappy atmosphere but EXCELLENT New York Style pizza. Ask it to be cut in slices for the true NYStyle experience. My friend and I call it sleezy slices out of love! Enjoy!
