Me and my family have been going to gracias for as long as I can remember. always the same love and always the same great quality, we even make the now at least 1hr drive just grab a few burritos every month or or two, and always when we are around the area. Great prices, unbelievable food and such an authentic atmosphere ( has changed a little in the past 10years) you will never find a comparable bite to eat. Gracias is a must for any unsure restaurant goer.

This place is definitely not one of my top picks but it was just alright. They have expanded the location which makes the restaurant look really nice, wish the food was better and the service

We get our food "take out" usually, mostly because of parking or lack thereof. We especially like their steak tacos. The tortillas used are a bit small so it can be messy with steak overflowing, but who's gonna complain about that?! We call our order in ahead and it's always ready when we get there. They've been there a long time so they must be doing something right.

Went there with a group and was very excited. The food came and half of ours was cold by the time it got to the table. I order the El Pastore combination plate and it was regular pork, not seasoned at all and it was over cooked. We will never be going back to this reataurant again which is a shame because last time we went we really enjoyed it.

Great Location, but the food has always been mediocre. I live in the immediate neighborhood, so I have been going here occasionally for years. It is convenient.

Dear Garcia's Management- Thank you for your generous discount after a poor experience. First of, I wanted say, I spent about $2 in parking for about 2 hours right in the back of the restaurant. We walked in and met up with our other friends and was sat immediately. We were all very hungry. After about 10 minutes at looking at the menu, I flagged down a server and ordered our drinks (5 horchatas), an appetizer, and our main entrees. All is well after this point and after conversating for quite a bit, we noticed people who were sitting around us were getting their drinks and food (some parties 3 and more actually said down after our party). That's when I looked at the time and noticed we've been waiting a good 45-50 minutes. At this point, I knew something was seriously wrong. I flagged our server down and asked politely for our drinks. The server actually asked, "what drinks did you order?" Note, at this point we still have not gotten our appetizer. After another good 10 minutes, our drinks arrived. My buddy finally got fed up and approached the manager. He seemed understanding and tried to resolve the situation immediately. However, our server, was not professional, nor apoloegitic. She agued that everyone must wait and what we ordered was "special" and took longer to make. Come on man! (no tomatoes and extra beans on the burritos). At this point, it already surpassed an hour and finally our appetizer showed up cold and burnt. It was almost like its been sitting there for while. 3 minutes after the appetizer, the food came out and it was also cold. Come on Guys, I use to love Garcia's and now I've to share this experience with all my friends and family. To the management, if a situation like this happens, deal with it yourself instead of leaving it up to the server.

I have been going to Garcia's on Lincoln since they opened in early 1991. The burritos and tacos are still the same, as is the salsa verde and the pico de gallo., so the recipe is in tact. I must say they make among the best burritos in the city. The best burritos/ tacos I believe are at Taqueria la Zacatecena on the souhwest corner of California and Nelson. However, Garcias comes a very close second. The only drawback is the price. $9.24 for a steak burrito? Did I break a window? The prices for these have risen steadily through the years, that's for sure. They were only $3.75 when they first opened in 1991. I understand inflation, but come on now.....
