Good Chinese Food; yet a bit pricey
Used our groupon to check out this eatery. Their sushi was good, and walnut shrimp could have been better. Atmosphere was cozy which I rated to be the highest. For improvement, add a little bit more on the food portions, and lower your prices to stay competitive. Overall, it was a decent experience; but decent does not build a long term successful business.

Not recommended
After reading the reviews we thought we would give Friendship Chinese Restaurant a try. What a mistake! We had the ribs for one of our appetizers the BBQ sauce was awful. We also had the steamed dumplings which were gummy and the pork was the texture of paste. One of our guests ordered the egg rolls and I must say they were good but the sauce that came with them was strange. For dinner we ordered the Mongolian beef it was the worst I have ever had. I am still tasting the strange after taste. If you are looking for really good authentic Chinese food don't bother with Friendship Chinese. It is neither good nor authentic. It is not worth your time and your money would be better spent somewhere else! We will never order from Friendship Chinese again.

Chinese Food Done Right
Fresh ingredients = great tasting food. Bottom line. The family really enjoyed all of the food, we will get food from here again!

A Hidden Gem!
You would never expect to find such a high-end Chinese restaurant on the northwest side of Chicago. And what I mean by high-end is that it has a beautiful and modern decor with the ambiance to match - the owner(s) really thought this through and a romantic, lightly dimmed atmosphere, where you not only enjoy the beautifully prepared food that explodes with spices and flavour, but the music and surroundings to match it. One thing that I love about this place is that it's not your typical Chinese restaurant/diner which you can easily find on every corner these days. You will have a fine Chinese dining experience and it is definitely 180 degrees from ordinary Chinese, as their slogan reads. I strongly recommend dining in. Prices are excellent for what you get and the overall restaurant ambiance.

Freakin' Sweet
This place is the best Chinese in Chicago. The staff is attentive, honest, and supportive. They allow you to experience the cuisine without a sense of urgency. The entrees are interesting, distinct and explosive with flavour. I have sincerely enjoyed everything I have ever ordered from here. The best part, however, is that when they tell you it is going to be an hour for delivery, it always arrives within thirty to thirty-five minutes. Fast, efficient, spicy and exotic - all that encompasses the essence of China, right here in Chicago!

Great!
We tried this on a whim one Saturday for lunch. Like most good Chinese places, they do have a lunch special. I got the Curry Tofu Tofu- quite tasty and I was impressed that they managed to incorperate a kind of tofu that I have never eaten before into the dish! My friend ordered the orange chicken from the lunch special and it was the best! The sauce was to die for and the accompaning wonton soup was very good. This place is worth a try, for sure.

Perfect!
The shrimp are amazing, the wonton soup is clean clear and perfect. This is beyond Chinese Food, fresh crisp veggies, sauces, complimenting flavors....I love this place and look forward to bringing people here. I have been coming here for a couple of months since I discovered it and trying everything on the menu.
