    Great italian!

I LOVE Italian food (probably because I am Italian) and Frankie's is a great spot. Everything we had was delicious and the service was wonderful on top of that. The waiter suggested items and let us know the deals that were going on to help us spend less (which is always a plus in my book). Overrall, great place to check out!

    Good "red sauce" Italian place

I've had spaghetti & meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, and the sausage pizza - all very good. Sauce is slightly sweet which I'm partial to. I was a little surprised that the lasagna was all ricotta and no meat. Never saw it made like that before, but I ordered it with the rich meat sauce and liked it very much. Since I love ricotta, it was very satisfying with that sauce. Marinara (meatless) sauce is also available. For dessert a really good vanilla mini pancotta is offered fo r$1.50! Other desserts, too, which I haven't tried yet.

    Surprising

While in town to catch Jersey Boys, we ventured to our favorite restaurant, Toucchi Benuccis to find it had changed to Frankies. The LEYE folks scored big with the change. My Absolute Ziti was great and my Italian wife said that her Egg Plant Paramsian was the best she had EVER had. It's too bad we live in Milwaukee because we would dine here more often. By the way, the attention to service was outstanding, we felt like we were the only ones in the place.
