great food for a market cafe
In Streeterville and looking for a safe bet fr obreakfast or lunch? F&O offers great basics and some gourmet touches making it worth the stop. I go once a week for the organic coffee alone. Breakfast paninis are fantastic, the sandwich offerings never disappoint, and the portions are generous. Baked goods are also winners. Seating can be tight, especially during weekday lunch and weekend brunch hours, so be patient. Service is friendly and atmosphere is agreeable considering it's a cafe attached to a gourmet market and not your corner bistro. Check it out at least once; if you're a local, you're guaranteed to come back.
