Wonderful Experience!
We visit Chicago quite often. Currently we are exploring the Lincoln Park area, and we had a great experience at Forno Diablo. The fabulous staff, featuring the 2 Ernies behind the bar, were attentive and helpful. Every dish was fabulous, as were the adult beverages. Looking forward to our next visit. I would encourage you to give it a try.

Great Service
This restaurant was a great experience. The fried calamari is a must have. The sauce is to die for and the plate is well worth the money. The bartender service was great and enthusiastic. I enjoyed the atmosphere, we asked for a certain type of music so they changed it, we were treated with great respect and look forward to going back. I just didn't like that the crab cakes only had two on the plate though they were delicious. The pizza was good with a twist, not an ordinary pizza thats for sure, the martini's were bomb. (Great)

Yummy!
I think this place is really unique and my friends and I always enjoy eating there...it's relaxing! The martinis are good and we love the brick-oven chicken...the portions are large so I usually split a plate...can't wait to eat there again!

Great Service!!!
The service was the best I've had in a very long time. The whole staff was very attentive! Food was wonderful too, great atmosphere!

New place, needs some work
Went here for the first time last night with a small group of friends. The service was attentive but strained, our waitress seemed to be handling too many tables. However, when one friend joined up late the hostess and bar tender stepped in to help take her order while our waitress was busy. The food, for being Italian or pizza seem to take a long time to come out. I rated the food for my entire group. I got the Diablo pizza which was very good. Others in my group got pasta dishes which were somewhat disappointing, except for a dish served with large mussels. The value of the place is reasonable but sides are extra with most dishes. The drink special for Thursday night was Captain drinks ($4) but the drinks were weak. Girls in my group got martini's and enjoyed the drinks. The overall atmosphere of the place was good and I would be interested to go back on a weekend for drinks, hoping the drinks are a little stronger next time.
