Dined at the Fireside on a spur of a moment. Not really in my neighborhood, but like the ribs and the patio seating. They recently remodeled and French doors open onto street and there is outside street seating. Started w/ the coconut shrimp (skip this, nothing worth remembering). Ordered the full slab of ribs, but Jimmy our server suggest the dry rub and bbq sauce on the side. Great choice! Will end up doing that every time I go back. Also ordered lasagna, but it spinach in it, and that threw off the flavor. Ended up ordering kiddie sliders. The Ceasar salad was good, but way too small of a portion. The peppercorn filet was cooked perfect, seasoned well and very tender.

I've been coming to the Fireside for a few years now. I never know where to sit because they have a dining room with a fireplace, an outdoor patio that is enclosed and heated in the winter, and the bar where we frequent often late night knowing we can get food at 2am. The servers are very friendly that is one reason we come back and I highly suggest the Calamari, pasta with blackened chicken and their weekly specials. They have a new brunch menu, I tried the crabcake benedict it is worth the trip back for brunch not to mention the bloody mary bar where you create your own bloody mary. I like bringing my friends I've never been let down.
