What a lucky neighborhood!
I thought I had moved OUT of Little Italy...much to my surprise I found this delightful store/deli on my corner. The sandwiches are true Italian subs, the homemade pasta dishes (frozen or fresh) are amazing and the deli selection is impressive. And at $3 for a single serving of delish pasta? Please, this is value people!!! On top of that, you can get delicious pastry, pretty produce, and D'Amato's bread daily. My favorite treat is the BEST espresso in the CITY - and I should know - I can barista with the best of 'em. After a few mornings they even told me I could call ahead to have my latte ready each morning. Oh yeah - the chili and homemade soups rock too!
