check please
My family were seated at the patio and did not enjoy the foliage and heat. There was a fan directed toward the table across from us which carried some breeze. The waitress was hardly ever around. My daughter finished her water and had to drink mine. The food is definitely not to-die-for and the prices positively high for the quantity given. I was totally not impressed considering this restaurant was featured on television. This was our first time and we were very disappointed, so would not go back. They lost good-tipping, repeat diners.

Great Italian Food
This place has the best atmosphere in the summer. You can sit on the patio, screened from the city street and enjoy the fountains and basil plants. If you want more basil, just pluck it from a nearby plant. The food is better than my Nona made and is always fresh and tasty. The prices are commensurate with the quality. There is a great little wine list - all are good. If they have mussels that night- get them.

ok at best....
The food is ok, the portions are not as big as you would expect for the prices we paid, the people and service were good though, but the place just blends into the area with all the other italian restaurants, nothing on there menu stood out, not a convenient place unless you cab it, absolutly no parking, wish we had know there is no alcohol allowed on the patio before we were seated, it was nice, but hard to enjoy our meal with soda and water, overall it was just "ok" for us it's not worth going back.

A little corner of Italy
Really nice, welcoming little restaurant with a lovely room & very nice outdoor seating. Excellent Mussels marinara. Cioppino and Chicken Vesuvio were great. Family run with owners on premises (very nice folks). Nice portions and good bang for the buck. Small but decent wine-list. And...real espresso coffee. This place is worth a visit; will return again! The Fiorentino family (Francesca at the helm) have a good thing going.

Fabulous !
Not only is the food fabulous, but I can not remember a time when I enjoyed a dining experience this much, Great atmospher great service and the food is absolutely delicious ! If you go, try the baked clams, the black mussels in the shell (the best I"ve ever had anywhere) and the fried calamari. Also go for the pasta puttanesca , so many great choices I cant wait to go back!

Predictable and cheesy..
The dining area is nice, patio is ok when no cars on Ashland, food had little flavor, I remember the chef from gamekeepers, he seems to try hard but the food falls short of the prices they charge, The owners are nice people but I wish someone would have told them how many places have come and gone in the same location,

That's Amore!
We loved this place! Cozy, friendly and fun. The food is outstanding. Everyone in our group was overwhelmed by how good each entree was. The family (Fiorentino) runs it and they really care about every detail. Have the spedini or gillatta (grilled seafood platter) awesome! We are telling all our friends.
