Marcello's Father & Son Pizza

I live in Florida but when I visit my family in Chicago, once or twice a year; I MUST have the Vegetarian Gourmet Pizza from Father and Son. I've tried to explain it to pizza makers down here in FL but no one comes close. Do you ship!

They're thin crust pizza is absolutey addicting. I order from here about once a week. I think they use narcotics in their pizza sauce because if I go a while without this pizza, I get withdrawl.

I no longer live in the Chicago area but it is mandatory whenever I visit the city that I go to this restaraunt. The first time I had this pizza was in 1967 and it is and remains the best. Today I buy one to have at the restaraunt and buy another to take home with me (on the plane).

Not sure about the other reviews. It is not expensive at all. Pizza prices are the same give or take a few bucks no matter where you go. The pizza is worth any price. Deep dish is some of the best in the Chicago area. I've been eating here for years and have always left fully satisfied. Great service, food at this family establishment.

My father's side of the family was one of the first customers Father & Son had when they opened. My grandfather ordered a pizza there the day they opened. Great food then, great food now. However, the price is outrageous! There's no reason that a pizza should cost 25 bucks. I've worked for other pizza places, and it doesn't cost them even 3 dollars to make a pizza. I love the food here, I just don't get it too often. There's a place by me that has fantastic pizza for a much cheaper price.

I think the neighborhood needs more work, but the food and service was great. Definately a family place, very kid friendly. Old fashion place that every family would love.

A greasy pizza but at a cost to your pocketbook still not horrible price but they need to lower it drastically
