Like coming home.
I've been going the Exchequer's since 1978 when I was going to school in Chicago. Every time I visit, Exchequer's is the 1st place I go. It hasn't changed much and it feels like I'm visiting an old friend. Great pizza, ribs and burgers. Very friendly - but that's Chicago.

Best Restaurant in Loop
Walk in and see the old movie posters on the walls. Talk sports with one of the 3 owner/brothers. All the food is great esp. pan pizza (cheeezy), ribs (meaty & value priced), & burgers (juicy). Service has always been excellent in the 37 years that I have been going there. Plus they have a discount coupon at their web site. A fun place with great food at reasonable prices.

Pleasant Dining
Tried this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon in August when down for the Jazz Fest at Grant Park. Had the tilapia which was wonderful. Our waitress was a most pleasant young lady despite the fact we were two senior women ( we don't always receive the best of service. ) Exchequer was a pleasant dining experience and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Great Pizza
We had an appetizer and pizza. The pizza was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this place. Expect a wait because it seems popular with the locals. I would try other things on the menu but it is hard to pass up their pizza.
