2011 Braida Moscato D’asti Frizzante, Piemonte excellent as an apertivo or dessert. honey, orange blossoms, elderflower on the nose, acidic nectar mouth feel with a sleek and silky finish. try alongside an entree with spice or a cheese dish for dessert.   10.50

NV Tintero Favorita Blend "Grangia", Piemonte honeysuckle and roses on the nose, fruit forward with tiny bubbles, but a very dry finish. staff favorite. 50% favorita blended with chardonnay, moscato and arneis.   7.50
2011 Bolzano Pinot Grigio "St. Magdalena", South Tyrol-Alto Adige what a great expression of an italian pinot grigio! this could easily be mistaken for a cooler climate austrian or german pinot gris, lacking the sometimes infamous flat beer aromas of an italian pinot grigio. ripe apples and pears. sturdy body. super fresh. happy juice.   8.50
2011 Librandi Ciro Bianco, Calabria white peach, citrus and field herb aromas, great balance and full mouthfeel. this is why winos often prefer the fresh and interesting southern italian white to many others. made from 100% greco bianco. try it with our cozze della casa.   7.00
2011 Abbazia Di Novacella Kerner, Alto Adige having a glass of this is a must. kerner was "created" by august herold, a grape breeder, when he cross-bred trollinger with riesling not even 100 years ago. kerner is intensely and complexly aromatic and floral with grapefruit and ripe peaches on the nose, tropical fruits on the palate. try next to the pasta orechiette with extra chili flake on our patio. mouthwatering acidity helps this complete many of our dishes. drink this if you love an elegant sauvignon blanc or a dry riesling or if you simply love wine!   10.50
2011 Ajò Nuragus De Cagliari, Sardegna, Italia nuragus is the most planted grape on the island of sardegna. here you get a wine very close to a vermentino in almost every way. herbaceous bouquet with melon and pear. creamy mouth feel with honey and citrus still present, slight almond finish.   9.00
2010 Domaine Thibert, Macon Fuisse, Chardonnay, Burgundy, France chardonnay, from france, where it is best expressed! ripe yellow plum fruit, melons and nuts - and that’s just the nose. toasty, nutty, buttery goodness on the palate. if you don’t like chardonnay like this, i guess you should have a sauv blanc.   12.00

Red

2011 J.Hofstätter, Pinot Nero "Meczan," Alto Adige, IT cranberry, black cherry and violets on the palate - this pinot noir is delicate and light in color while possessing a depth of flavor and body that’s remarkably elegant . this area of italy was part of austria untilworldwar 2 and pinot noir has been grown here for 180 years. hofstätter, like most names here, is and austrian family name. there are more klauses and heinzes than marios and alfredos in alto adige.   11.50
2010 Corte Gardoni Bardolino "Le Fontane," Veneto, IT delicate but lively nose - light body with juicy fruit in the mouth. this corvina/rondinella blend pairs amazingly with our venison bolognese or cured meats. made from the same grapes as amarone, just one town over. without the tedious vinification process of the amarone, you get a clean, bright bardolino   9.00
2008 Spiropoulos Agiorgitiko "Red Stag," Peloponnese, Greece gorgeously aromatic with black and red currants - very soft tannins carry through a smooth and lively finish. small amount of barrel age adds subtle vanilla to the bouquet. homer wrote about almost three millennia ago referring to it as "the blood of hercules!" don’t be intimidated though, this is a smooth drinking glass of red.   8.00
2011 Cirelli Montepulciano D’abruzzo, Abruzzo, IT ripe fresh red fruit on the nose that’s fresh and bright. medium to full bodied, with round and balanced tannins. 100% organic and sustainable grapes harvested in late october by italian goose farmer francesco cirelli. great with cured meats or one of francesco’s goose hams!   8.00
2010 Valpane Barbera Del Monferatto "Rosso Pietro," Piemonte, IT this approachable barbera has low tannin, without the often fruity and tart "jolly rancher" fruit that some dime-a-dozen barbera’s may posses. dried blackberry, and earth on the palate, clean finish.   9.50
2009 Monterabaldi Nebbiolo Blend "Tre Stelle," Piemonte tre stelle translates to "three stars" : langhe is ? each: nebbiolo, dolcetto and barbera. you’ll find complex strawberry jam, blueberry and tarragon aromas finishing off with soft tannins and food-friendly acidity oak is present. try this with a hearty mushroom dish. tre stelle = the three tears that come to your eyes when you drink this stuff!   8.00
2009 Terra Di Vulcano Aglianico Del Vulture, Basilicata, IT grown on the volcano of mount vulture in basilicata, southern italy. forest floor and spiced nose. blackberries, round, tannins that creep up. 100% stainless fermentation to display the natural beauty of this indigenous varietal, without any obnoxious oak intervention.   8.00
2010 Hedges Merlot "Bacchus," Columbia Valley,Washington don’t let that one wine movie fool you… merlot is where it’s at. single vineyard 100% merlot from the house of independent producer’s "bacchus vineyard". perfumed, gentle nose with some subtle espresso notes. earthy, round and elegant in the mouth without a long, bold and lingering finish. beautiful homage to the old world merlot that we all respect and love.   7.50
2009 Pedres Cannonau Di Sardegna "Cerasio," Sardegna, IT grenache goes by many different names and flavors, depending on terroir and residence. in italy alone there are dozens of names for different clones. on the island of sardegna where there are more sheep than people: we call it cannonau. you get spicy notes, ripe red fruit on the nose, deep purple body and a long round finish with some oak at the very end. this wine can rest in your glass for quite some time to open up.   10.50
