Hidden Gem in the City!
I just celebrated my birthday at Elate this weekend. It was a party of 8 and our server was fantastic! Since we had such a large group he suggested that we pass around small plates to try different things on the menu and everything we encountered was above our expectations. From the sausage pizza, to the fried dough to the must have veal cheeks to the scallops, I could not get enough of the food. And the best part is that the prices were extremely reasonable.

Favorite new place!
I went to Elate with a group of 4, and together we tried almost everything on the menu. Between the peach & pork pizza and the octopus pastramie there wasn't one thing I didn't absolutely love. The food was so unique and the menu offered lots of different options - oysters, pizza, charcuterie, short ribs, beet salad... the mix of foods satisfied everyone at the table. And shockingly nothing was priced over $16! Thats what I loved most about this place - quality food without all the hype. The atmosphere was perfect - we ended up staying for hours, drinking wine and hanging out at the cool new lobby bar located inside the hotel. I look forward to going back!
