The Absolute BEST.!
Their tacos are awesome.! &&the Nachos Supreme.. AMAZiNG.! I absolutely love it there.! The food is great. The service is great. The appearance is great, needs a little modernizing.. but still GREAT.! I absolutely love it.! The BEST.! I went in expecting to have to say, "Excuse me can I get a little more sauce." but there was no need.! they're friggin awesome.! (=

Taste of Tijuana on Taylor
Great Mexican food, great value. We always get carry out. They have some of the best guacamole in town, and good pico de gallo too. Super sweet huge burritos. No frills atmosphere, with a weird mural left over from the previous establishment.

Authentic food for a great value.
I've lived in the Tri-Taylor area off and on for almost six years how. As such, I'm rather embarrassed that I'd not tried Taco Grill prior to this year. Wow, what a surprise. On a whim, I stopped by and tried their steak tacos. They were amazing, and better yet? The rice and beans - items that are kind of ho-hum, or generally there in other local restaurants - were wonderful and tasted exactly how I remember them. (I lived near the Mexico/Texas border for three years.) I've not really ventured passed the steak tacos, but the beans, riche, and guacamole are all superb here. The restaurant itself could use a little updating in the inside dining area, but the wondeful, helpful waitstaff more than make up for it. Really, a great overall value for your money, right in the heart of Little Italy.
