I'm Cuban with a Filipino husband with a Cuban stomach, and I have tried many Cuban restaurants in the Chicago area and Suburbs. Without any doubts I can tell you this is the best typical Cuban food around. I been going to them for more than 10 years since I was pregnant the first time I went and now that baby is 11. I leave all the way in Schaumburg and every few weeks that is a for scheduled trip for me and my family, since the place is small and my family have grown with now a toddler that will not sit, we actually order to go. Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food that you get and Tanya and Lili are adorables, always attentive and very nice. We love this place and definetily recommended to anyone who really wants to experience the real taste of Cuban Food. I will always keep encouraging the owner to open another Rinconcito in the Schaumburg area.

I really like the food here and have gotten take out as well as eaten in a few times. It is a small neighborhood spot. Not a lot of seating but i have always felt very welcome here. It does seem like they have a lot of regulars. I have no complaints about the food. I am a seafood fan and have only ordered shrimp and fish dishes here. I think both ones i got came in a very tasty tomato sauce with rice and beans and sweet plantains. I would go back and think it is worth a trip if you are in the area.

I have eaten in this restaurant on many occasions. The food is very good, ample, and well priced. It would be nice to see this restaurant expand to accomodate more patrons as the food is that good. DELICIOSA !!!
