Adequate, but not great food.
I have been trying to find good dishes at El Charco Verde for a very long time. To be fair, their beans and rice are not bad, and their steak tacos and tostadas are decent. However, the tacosalad, tamales, and enchiladas are just not very good at all. They are a decent enough place - their guacamole is probably their one stand-out item - for every day run of the mill food, but overall, I will stick with mine and my friend's edict: "do not eat at Charco Verde." However, the waitstaff is quiet and efficient, and they appear to be in the process of updating their main dining room.
