Tasteless food
I was there last night, the seafood hot and sour soup was delecious but the pot stickers, the shrimp balls and the shrimp fried rice needed spicies. Everything was bland. We ordered a lot of food but expect for the soup, everything else was tasteless. There are other chinese restaruants that have better food.

Below expectations
We went early on a Sunday hoping to beat any rush. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant, and the order was still not correct. The shrimp dumplings came out as mostly pork meatball with some shrimp thrown in. The vegetable dumplings had whole dried tiny shrimp inside, (eyeballs, tail and all,) not so shocking for a Chinese restaurant, but just so you know, not entirely vegetarian. The tea and red bean bao buns were good. The family style tofu was bland, but there was a lot of tofu. Overall, portions are generous. Tea was offered as we were just finishing the meal. You have to take the decor for what it is- but the euromix music playing bordered on intolerable. Maybe other people have better luck- the counter seemed very busy filling carry-out orders.

Nice
I like this place. It's very authentic. If you're looking for some deep-fried sweet and sour chicken, this is NOT your place. As a vegetarian, there are plenty of things here on the menu for me. The people who run the place are very nice. They tend to leave me alone, which sometimes is annoying when I want the bill, but it's less annoying than going to a place where they interrupt conversation every 10 minutes.
