The escargot is heavenly! Sauces are classic and properly made. (Several dishes may be prepared in either northern or southern Vietnamese styles, spicy or mild.) I love this place: soft flattering lighting, carefully selected furnishings, real linens, and a relaxing exposure to a time long-past. Dinners like this could easily cost twice elsewhere.

I eat here a several times a year. This small unassuming restaurant in the old Edgewater Beach Hotel is run by a husband and wife team along with their son. I like the limited menu. Prices are quite reasonable. Spinach/bacon salad, French Onion soup, roast duck, raspberry ginger chicken and salmon are always a good choice. I've never had a bad meal. Order wine as they haven't mastered making cocktails. Room is a bit outdated but that is one of thing that gives it's ambience. Most clientele are from the building, with the few occasional neighborhood people. Prices are reasonable. If you want to have a well cooked meal that isn't in a noise challenging place. This is the place to go.
