I've tried a lot of Jerk Restaurants in Illinois, but this has too be the best. After going to Jamaicia you know what too look for when it comes to Jerk Chicken. They have the best, but need one within the City limits.

I turned my office onto D's food and now everytime we have an event, they look to me to provide D's jerk chick, fish, sweet potatoes and rice and peas. The food is of the gods!

I've tasted jerk chicken far and wide, and this spot has got the most flavorful Jerk in Chicagoland. You can tell that Dennis makes sure that he does'nt sell chicken that has not been marinated for a least a whole day. The flavor is intense and the sides are also excellent. Do not miss the jerk rib tips either. The jerk bbq sauce is to die for. This place should really have a location within the city limits. Your call in orders are ready when you arrive which is a rarity in Jerk spots these days. My recommendation is also the Jerk Bucket.

I did not like Jerk chicken when I first tasted it; something about the spices. But, my son got me to try it again when a friend from work got some for him from D's. I have been eating it every since. The seasoning is great and what I really like is that you can taste the smoke in the meat. I have been several times since and I have not been disappointed yet. Oh yeah, the beans and rice are great too.

The jerk bucket is awesome.
