    Way Overpriced

There was nothing good about this way overpriced mess! From the tasteless margaritas that had absolutely no alcohol that they charge $9 for (Robbery!) to the platter of tacos (8 for $31 - these are tacos people!) I was disappointed with everything that we ordered. The guacamole was $7.50 for mashed avocados with absolutely no spice and very stale chips. The skirt steak taco was bone dry and the fried shrimp taco was very fishy. The ahi tuna was OK as was the chile pork. But our bill for three people at $120 was ridiculous for what we got. I would rather go to Cucina Frida in Andersonville or even the homemade tacos in the park that they sell for a dollar during soccer games are a better deal than anything you can get at De Cero. I won't be back.

    good...but expensive

I really like the food at de cero. I like the atmosphere, even though it can be a bit noisy and crowded (the bar area is very small and can be cramped if you're waiting for a table). I just don't like the prices. I get that it's "upscale tacos", but hey, they're still tacos. That means that with de cero's prices, you just don't get much food for your money. Chicken tacos are $4. Not to mention that you don't get complimentary chips and salsa -- not even the first basket. I think an order is like $2. I do think the food is really tasty and the tacos are unique (i love the chipotle chicken with shredded chicken, mashed pinto beans, and sour cream) but I just feel like I either walk out hungry or else I've emptied my wallet.
