I just moved to Andersonville and we thought we’d celebrate at a local Mexican Grill Co-ci-na. Mom, my sister and I just had dinner at this fabulous place. My family considers themselves mole connoisseurs and enjoy trying out new places. Mom and sister had the beef tenderloin (filet mignon) restaurant “carne asada” specialties La Tampiqueña and La Oaxaqueña. I had the Pork in Mole Verde. Mom loved their black mole. All entrées were tender and juicy. The staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had a peaceful atmosphere. The owner/ chef came out to ensure we were happy with our meal. My sister loved the capirotada dessert. We will definitely be back

This restaurant's mole is simply the best in Chicago; authentic Mexican with over 19 ingredients. Everyone gets free, home-made tortilla chips with 3 different home-made salsas. Everything is fresh. Service is quick and helpful. It's also BYOB. Our favorite Mexican place in an area where there are lots of them.
