Land of Serene Deliciousness
This place was an accidental discovery. I had walked by many times and just not noticed it. When I finally walked in I found myself in a land of whispering waterfalls and beckoning palms. Feeling just a touch headachey that day I nestled into a quiet corner and ordered the Nameko Miso soup. It came promptly, and as I savored the flavors of this rejunevating broth the subtle music and gentle atmosphere worked their magic and I felt renewed, renewed enough to order the shrimp tempura roll and the agedashi tofu, both very delicious. I have since become a regular and have sampled most of the dishes on the menu. All have been consistently excellent. But I suggest that you ask what is NOT on the menu. I have discovered there are a number of dishes that never got onto their menu, like the Japanese steak, the most delicious steak meal I have had anywhere. All in all, the atmosphere is serene, the service is excellent, and most important, the food is absolutely delicious.
