Clarke's
This place rocks socks, truly. Its straight old school and is great for the late night munchies or the morning hangover cure.

Perfect diner
No matter how hungry you are, or your pickiness level, you will always find something on the menu that sounds good. Consistently tasty and filling, if decidedly unglamourous. Open 24/7 for those last night grease cravings. Great atmosphere for long talks on all topics, punctuated by 80s music. One of my favorite places on the North Side.
