I live a few blocks from this restaurant and had wanted to try it for the longest time solely for the great name. I finally stopped in to grab a to go order and I'm glad I did. The Chubby wiener was great, and I was even more surprised by how good the chubby burger was. I highly recommend Chubby Wieners for the great food and value.

I love their food, but there are a few things that I can't get over. 1) They refuse to post their hours, and half the time I show up for lunch they are closed. 2) The employees are consistently rude, kinda like the people down the block at Leland Inn. 3) They don't accept credit. 4) When I offhandedly expressed surprise at their not offering free refills, the manager got really defensive and seemed like he was looking for a fight. So, despite the food being excellent, affordable and close to home, I can't bring myself to go back.

I have made chubby wieners part of my daily routine, they have a great menu with a variety of food, and not to mention their fresh salads with grilled chicken, EXCELLENT! but i will admit i am a sucker for the dog and fries. DELICIOUS! the dogs are vienna beef and i ask but they wont tell me what they do to the fries to make them so TASTY!!! YOU GOTTA TRY THESE FRIES!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU CHUBBY WIENERS

This place is awesome. Ive had both dogs and burgers (burgers are awesome) Weenies are awesome and surprisingly excellent fries. Its great greasy junk! Hits the spot if ya know what I mean.

i think its a great place to go sit down a have a good meal. i recommend that people go there and have a chubby!

I recently stopped into the newest addition of Lincoln Square, "Chubby Wieners" i have to say i was not disappointed with the 1/2lb. cheddar bacon burger I ordered, and the fries were to die for, absolutely the best french fries in the city. they are open from 11am- to 9pm daily excluding Sundays for now. I recently asked the manager/owner and he said look for their new hour this summer, cant wait and thank you Chubby Wieners. Five Stars for sure *****. sincerely, the Lincoln Square Fat Guy

As far this sort of food is concerned, it's really hit or miss. Especially since there's a hotdog and italian beef joint on every other corner of this city. However, chubby weiners is a bit of an exception. Sure, it's one of the only restaurants of its kind in Lincoln Square, interestingly enough. But they make hotdogs and make 'em well. You can choose to have them steamed, grilled, steamed and grilled...however you want it. As well, there italian beef and burgers are quite tasty. The place is clean, the staff is cool, and you get a huge bang for your buck....its truly a welcome edition to Lincoln Square. One major complaint is that their hours aren't long enough. They should be open until at least 2am on Thursday through Sundays...if they really want to make some money.
