The food is fresh sometimes! The portions are small this causes a problem when more than one person is eating.

It's the busiest delivery night of the year, so keep that in mind with this review. First, they said it would take two hours to deliver (busy), but no big deal. Instead, it showed up in ONE hour! Pleasant surprise. Ordered sesame chicken, egg roll (got one free also), crab rangoon, banana bubble tea. The sesame chicken tasted a LOT like sweet and sour chicken. I checked the receipt - it said "Sesame Chicken" so I assume their sesame chicken is just very similar to sweet and sour. At any rate, it wasn't bad at all, a little too much breading for my taste, but not bad. The egg rolls were cold, but it's cold outside and they still had a very good taste to them. Bubble tea was very good. Crab rangoons were excellent - some of the best I've had in Chicago. Delivery guy was very pleasant. Everything was packed SO nicely. Drink in separate bag, nice bag of sauces and fortune cookies, hot stuff in another bag. And a ridiculously huge amount of food. I was really hungry and still didn't make a dent in it. I'll order from here again.

This is a great carry out place with good food, affordable. It definately isn't the type of restaurant to sit down at with a date.

if you have a great taste in chinese food then you better visit china hut. the food is so delicious and very affordable. i don't know why they make it so good and cheap. if you really want to eat good food, please visit china hut.

The best Chinese Food in the city. Strictly pick up or delivery. The restaurant isn't much to look at but the food is fresh and delicious.

Oustanding. I'm from NYC and I find the Chinese food in Chicago to be awful. Except for China Hut. I think it's some of the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. The price is great, the service is great, and the food is outstanding. The only reason the the atmosphere is rated so low is because it's a take out place, not much a place to eat at, just get it to go or they deliver. Honestly, the Chinese food in Chicago is awful. The China Hut brings true takeout Chinese. It's so good! Take my word. Also, if you think Chicago has good Chinese food or you've had good Chinese food from another place in Chicago, then you've never had good Chinese food. But hey, keep eating the same old crap, just more for me. Take my word, this place is off the hook. Seriously.

The food is GREAT here and FAST service!
