    Crappy Phones

I truly love the food here, but ORDERING from them drives me crazy!! I don't know if it's their phone system of what, but I have to practically scream my apartment number and order at them. It would be comical if I weren't so hungry. "One half chicken!" "OK, you want 3 full chickens?" "What?! No!" Unbelievable. Now they don't order to my new apartment (I was at Addison, now I'm at Fullerton) because the guy doesn't want to bike out there. ....shouldn't they own a car?

    Please and Thank You...

I think the Chicken Hut is great alternative to high cost, fast food in the Lakeview area. However, I you'd think that after all the business those of us in the nieghborhood and beyond give this venue, you'd think the service would be more polished. I get better service at KFC; a simple THANK YOU would certainly make a customer feel encouraged to return.

    The Bird Is The Word

This is a fast, tasty and healthy meal. The freshest of chickens, roasted perfectly, and delivered quickly while still hot from the flames. The side dishes include corn on the cob, slaw, pita, and several others. Each meal has a choice of bbq or salsa for an added flavor kick. This is a consistant purveyor of well prepared food. They have a simple menu and concentrate on doing one thing very well.

    Delicious, Fast and Easy Solution

The chicken is nicely seasoned and very tender. Every week I pick up a whole one for on-the-go eating. It's nice to have grilled food without the fuss of preparing it. I'm so glad there's a healthy alternative like Chicken Hut in the fast food venue!

    Hotter than hell inside

It's a great place to eat, but man...on a hot summers day, walking in there is like being punched in the stomache. No ventilation at all, and with the heat of all The ovens, its easily the hottest place in chicago to eat. The food's good, and its a great place to eat if youre really cold, or have no sense of hot/cold depth.
