Love it. I will be back very soon Onion tart was fantastic but the Oeuf meurette was the best appetizer I had in a long time. Trout with caper was perfect and duck confit incredible. Great wine list reasonably priced

Love this place! We have been here a number of times since we live in the area. Great traditional French bistro food. Of course the onion soup is great, but the duck, the coq au vin, and especially the cassoulet are outstanding. Cassoulet may be the best in Chicago. Warm friendly atmosphere, terrific food.

Braised ribs with mash potatoes was very good. Wifes trout was very tasty. My son had the scallops, I thought they were a little under cooked. Daughter-in-law had the chicken special and told me it was very good. I had split pea soup and that was really good. Son had french onion and that was very good. Wife and daughter-in-law had lobster bisque and that wasn't very good. Seasoning was way off. Bread was really good. Mickey was outstanding, and my son said they have sat at the same table all three times they've been there. My first time and I will go back.
