This is the second year that we came to Chicago and had lunch here. We ate outside both times (last year along the sidewalk and this year on the side of the restaurant under the awning), and the service and food are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the chicken marsala, pasta, and chopped salad. We had an excellent red wine with our meal also. We will return next year and hope we can again have a nice day to eat outside.

A group of us went to Chicago for my birthday. The hotel suggested Carmine's for great food and atmosphere. The service was great, food was fabulous and we had a wonderful time. The dessert platter was brought out and everyone sang Happy Birthday. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I had such a great experience at Carmines! The atmosphere was upscale yet comfortable, the food was great and even though a lot of people are saying that the service was so-so, I thought it was very good. My wine glass was never empty! Also, the portions were great and the price was actually very reasonable considering the location of the restaurant. I would recomend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice italian restaurant.

The food was so good here that I barely noticed the mediocre service and semi-expensive prices. Probably the best pasta I have ever had! The appetizers were good and some of the other menu items i tried were amazing. I would highly recommend giving Carmine's a try.
