    Awesome subs

I've loved the subs at Capt'n Nemo's since I was a kid nearly 30 years ago. They're top shelf. Great bread, great cuts of meat and cheese and the sauce is unmatchable. I've been unable to find a chain deli that comes close. Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, Subway, Potbellys, Schlotzkys, and Quiznos don't hold a candle to it. Give Nemos extra points for being from Chicago and AWESOME before sub stores were trendy and found on every corner. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out. Their soup is great as well - and they give free samples of it. Hope they can expand further into the Northwest Suburbs ... Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove or elsewhere.

I cant belive I am the first!

Holy Christmas, You mean to tell me that even with all its loyal fans that no one has reviewed this place...Jeeze what a gem. For those of you that don't know this is one of the best kept secrets in Chicago. First off walk in and try some soup. Its fantastic. Then try and figure out what kind of sub you want. I have no idea what any of them taste like because i am a purist and i always get ham and cheese and mayo. Order and the nice people will make it. The Subs ARE HUGE. The bread is this old school crusty crackly bread that gets everywhere and is delicious. Seriously if you are looking for a sandwhich on a hot summer day or to warm up on cold winter night then this is the place to go to. It is a chicago staple This place is old school Chicago. When you could get a feast for a few bucks with out spending a bazillion dollars. There is love there.
