Of all the restaurants that delivered in Chicago, Calo's was probably my favorite. Their fried chicken was excellent, and I could order it as a dinner or to feed a crowd. Their prime rib special, as another reviewer stated was great. The fries were delicious and the coleslaw creamy and fresh. I also enjoyed the Italian Lemon Ice and Chocolate ice cream they offered for dessert. I was sorry to lose Calo's when I mov ed away.

Calo's is one of my favorite spots from which to order and get delivery. Their fried chicken is wonderfully seasoned and delicious. They also had a weekly prime rib special that was great and inexpensive. Great fries and slaw went with it. (I know, not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant) The pizza was good, especially topped off with some of their Italian Lemon Ice or Chocolate Ice Cream for dessert. For someone who comes home tired and really hungry,not wanting to go out, this was a great place to order delivery.

Calo is an average italian restaurant at best. This goes from the wine and beer selection to the bland tasting pasta dishes. Avoid the calamari and caprese salad. The wait staff is hit or miss: ranging from exceptional to is she seriously putting her finger in my beverage?

I've only eaten here once, but the pasta was only so so. They give large portions, but the food was still over-priced considering the quality. I'd prefer to have reasonable portions, and pay less anyway. Why do people consider it enjoyable to have an unappetizing mound in front of you? I was disappointed, and will never go back,

My friends and I loved the food at this restaurant. The pasta tastes homemade, and the sauces taste authentic Italian. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. We were also very impressed with the service we received from everyone at this restaurant... from the owner to the waitress to the busboy, everyone seemed to be focused on making sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be going back.

I checked out this place with a group of friends on a Saturday night about a month ago. We had a great meal, great drinks, and totally enjoyed the live band - Higher Ground - they deserve a mention. You will LOVE this place. i had an awesome steak and great soup. I'll be back often!

I just had the Gnocchi stuffed with Gorgonzola last night and it as TO DIE FOR! I've had their pizza which is "OK" but that Gnocchi is heavenly - a must try!
