I had the chicken parmesan twice - best I've ever had! Their sauce is excellent as well. Had the pizza - love it (but sausage a little too spicy for me). Salads are good but house Italian dressing is too strong/peppery. Ask to sample before getting. Poor Boy is so tender and enjoyable! Their eggplant parmesan is just like how my mom makes it - layered so perfectly and delicious! I will come back often. Also have had take-outs. One complaint - never real crowded so atmosphere can be too quiet for my liking but food is so worth it. Better than ANY place on Taylor Street or others in the neighborhood. Get in there - you'll be sold!

Tried it June 2011 - was pleasantly surprised with a decent Italian meal. I had the Linguini with clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari in a red sauce, and it was really good. I would order this again, but would like to also try other things. My husband had the penne pasta with pancheta and pesto sauce, and he enjoyed it but would like to try other items. Someone was eating pizza (not Chicago style) at the bar, and it looked good. I am looking forward to trying the pizza. We had fried calamari for an appetizer and it was fine. Pretty average for fried calamari, but the portion was plentiful. I have had amazing fried calamari, and really bad calamari friti...this was just average. It was a really good value overall, and I look forward to coming back and trying other things. It's a welcoming addition of places to eat in the neighborhood.
