Good food, but get a receipt!
Me and my boyfriend wanted something tasty for dinner, but not heavy and decided to try this cafe. It reminded us of cafes in Europe and we loved the environment, location, and decor. The staff were friendly and the food presentation was excellent. A+ on the tea selections and the lamb kabobs (they taste like lamb meatballs on skewers) with rice dish was just right. A on the chicken wrap with fries. B- on the roasted red pepper hummus. It just wasn't flavorful enough for me. I've had better from the grocery store. Overall we had a good experience and plan to return. The only bad part was when I bought chocolate chip cookies to go. I was told they were $1.67 each when I first arrived. When I bought the cookies on my way out (I purchased 6), they charged me almost $17. I didn't get a receipt and didn't realize the mistake until I got home. The cookies were tasty, but at almost $3 each, they should have been! We won't be running back to this restaurant each week, but might stop by again in the Fall, even if only for the tea and atmosphere. It's worth trying out, just remember to get a receipt.
