A Pilsen Landmark!
The best way I can describe the Bean is to compare it to the old tv show, Cheers---yes it's that funny too. They not only know your name but might even refer to you by your drink or sandwich of choice (i.e., "turkey sandwich", or "bagel monster")..I don't know how they remember so many people...It's also still a great place to get a value for those giant sandwiches and their consistent house flavor. Another great thing is you never know what famous person will stop by. I remember when the "Taco Shop Poets" stopped by for a musical number (in from Cali)...then of course when "Sones de Mexico" pulled a small set on a Saturday afternoon...and who can forget those infamous Day of the Dead celebrations...Classic Pilsen!
