Bun bo tastes quite authentic if you have strong teeth and other dishes such as goi cuonm mi hai san and com ga xao sa ot are good. It's not a very charming place, just a quick place to get in get some good grub and get out. I used to be a regular for more than a year, but then the service start getting bad. The last time I went, I had to wait for 30 minutes and no one came to take my order. There were not so many customers in the joint, and when new customers get in, they immediately get seated and waited on. I finally flagged down an old waiter and asked why no one come to take my order. The waiter cluelessly told me that my food was on its way . I told him that no one took my order yet so I don't think that the food would be on its way anytime soon. I told him that I would like to order my food, but he then he start complaining under his breath in Vietnamese about my attitude toward the elder. He took my order and I have to wait for an additional 20 minutes to get my food. I have always known that the place is not charming and most local don't come here for the service. But I did not like the attitude of the waiter once they think that you becomes a regular. I would not come here again, since I could get compatible food at Pho 777 and the service there is a lot better any day

The Goi Ga chicken salad is outstanding. One has to wrap their own pork spring rolls and the rice papers are one big glob so if one doesn't get to it quick when served stickiness can be a problem. Service is so so but so is every place on Argyle Street. BYOB and there is a package store 1/4 block away if you forget to bring your own.
