Great food not so great desserts

You have to try the blackened duck it is so good, the pasilla portobello mushroom sauce exceeded my expectations because I make a pretty good pasilla sauce. Stay away from the mango margaritas, I was told that they were the best when they were really bland. Try the caipirinhas, they were delicious. For appetizer we had the the taste of cuba, their ham croquetas are better here than la guardia's. The deserts were blah I would drink more instead. My roommate and I really enjoyed this little place, although I don't remember what my roommate I do remember her being extremely satisfied (except for the desserts, again stay away).

    Always a hit!

Food is always amazing - you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You can usually get seated on a Saturday night which is fantastic. Definitely go here for a date or with a large group and try a little of everything.

Nice place to bring a date

We've been here a couple times. I would advise getting there before 7 pm - it gets quite busy after that. They have great cocktails and the skirt stake was very juicy and tasty. They seated us and brought water right away and kept the water glass full. They have very nice latin music piping in the background. It reminded me somewhat of the Dominican Republic. They even checked our coats for us. The price is moderate, you can expect around $50 for two people.

    Yummy Cuban Food!

We really enjoyed our meal here. The butter that comes with the bread is really interesting -- sweet and spicy. We couldn't stop eating it! For our main course, my husband had the Carne a la Parilla and I had that Ropa Vieja. Both were quite good, though I think .the Carne was slightly better. We would definitely go back to try other menu items!
