    Service is Lacking

Food was sub-par. Service was awful. Plates of food were just slopply thrown together by "Chefs"! Would not Recommend to anyone.

Much needed creative & upscale seafood!

Just amazing! The creativity and freshness of the menu at C-House is perfection. My family did not believe that they should be visiting me in Chicago and eating seafood, but when we tried this place, their minds were quickly changed. It is decorated in a very subtle nautical class. The raw bar is situated in the center of the restaurant. Next time I will plant myself in front of that, order a glass of Pinot, and let them serve me what they will. We started with 7 of the small bites. We started with one order of the yellowfin fish tacos. I kid you not, they were so incredible, we ordered 2 more orders. The other two starters that stood out were the sardine with quail egg and the wagyu. For the main course, my mother had the lobster roll and could not stop gushing about it. I think I will try that one next time! Her boyfriend had the seared tuna and I believe he liked it (he's not so much the gushing type). I decided to try something from their raw bar as I really miss my raw seafood since moving here. I ordered a C-House tower which came with clams, crab claws, shrimp, oysters, and mussels. I could not believe that we were landlocked as the freshness and quality of the seafood was comprable to the best restaurants in New England (where I am from). I never wanted the plate to end. We ended the night at the C-View bar on the roof of the Hotel. Go now as it will soon be a hotspot as soon as its discovered. The only thing that we left feeling unsatisfied was in our wallets. It was absolutely worth it, but you will be paying for such an experience.
