What Happened
Used to be an excellent family restaurant, The prices are way to high, the meal portion is too small and the overall taste of the food is in very poor quality, this place has gone downhill.

Dececent food that isn't too hard on your pocket
I stopped in here based on a recommendation from a friend. I had a breakfast skillet that was well prepared. A testament to any establishment that sells breakfast is how well they prepare the eggs. C & G was spot on. The place could use a better seating arramgement. I felt like I needed a guide to lead to me to the correct area, but the staff was engaging and friendly. All in all, not a bad place to go and grab a bite to eat. Especially, if your cash is a little thin and you want a decent meal with good portions to fit your budget>

A very good "American Diner"
This is the best "American Diner" in the southeast side of chicago. Most of the menu is typical of these classic restaurants. It is a nice, friendly and clean place. Most of the food is homemade and the portions are very large. The prices are low to average. When I want a complete meal with salad or soup, bread, and a desert (that I never have room left in my tummy to eat), This is where I go.
