You get what you expect from a River North bar.
Went here for lunch on NYE with a small group of friends. The place is posh in it's decorations; HD TVs, projectors, and signage is all top notch. We were seated in a booth with "At table tap", but found that it still required the waitress to use anyways. The food is over priced, but of "gourmet" fare. The lunch menu has many choices, all with food-network buzz words attached to all descriptions. My bison burger was well cooked but severely under-seasoned. It was topped with brie (which wasn't quite melty enough) and some mango salsa, which dribbled over the sides of the burger so easily, I was forced to fork and knife it, so as not to look like a pig. The accompanying fries however, were hot, crispy and amazing. Others at the table enjoyed varying sandwiches, all without complaint. An appetizer tower of onion rings was delivered on an over-sized wooden block. Cute, but not fitting for the small amount of table space. Server was attentive. Water service was overly attentive. I got 3 sips of water before being refilled. Would I go back? Perhaps, but maybe if the tab was on someone else.
